Founder and head of Zentopia Records, he is driven by a spiritual journey entwined with lyrical rebellion and genre-fluid creativity

Breakthrough & Underground Rise (2010–2012)

Debut album Awaken (2010) marked Zen as a fierce underground voice tackling social injustices, garnering attention within hip hop circles via uncompromising political lyricism.

We The Sheeple (2011) brought further acclaim, associating Zen with respected acts such as Jedi Mind Tricks, Army of the Pharaohs and Snowgoonsm including an offer from Virgin Records which he declined. He also made history collaborating with German hip hop artist Speedfreak.

With the release of 2012, Zen shed his high-pitched voice and found his signature cadence, earning recognition by Wu‑Tang International and a signing to Protect Ya Neck Records under Black Mask. Sadly, his mentor’s passing halted that trajectory.

Reinvention & Rebirth (2017–2020)

After a five-year creative silence, Zen returned with Wake Up (2017) under $pirit $cientist, blending underground rap with trap energy and renewed ideological intensity.

A period of personal transformation and public silence followed in 2019, Zen describes it as an "ego‑death".

The 2020 album Sheep in Wolves’ Clothing, released as Zen Starwalker, opened with mock news reports declaring his former persona dead, before exploding into a new sound with Frenemies. A spiritual and artistic rebirth that set the stage for a new phase.
